My journey has taken me from pursuing success to intentionally building a life rooted in faith, purpose, character, and the example of Christ.
Through honest stories, practical wisdom, and biblical encouragement, my goal is to help others grow intentionally, rebuild where needed, strengthen the foundations of their lives, and pursue excellence in the way they live, lead, work, and serve.
My Story
I never expected my career in the trades to lead me to writing.
For nearly fifteen years, I worked on job sites across the country, often under intense pressure and in demanding conditions. The trades taught me a lesson I would eventually carry into every area of life:
Excellence does not happen by accident.
A quality weld requires preparation, discipline, patience, and attention to what others may never see. Over time, I realized the same was true of faith, leadership, marriage, fatherhood, finances, character, and legacy.
My journey has included opportunity and success, but also business failure, financial pressure, disappointment, and seasons that forced me to question what I was really building.
Those experiences changed my direction—and eventually led me to writing.
Today, I share lessons about faith, excellence, leadership, personal growth, work, and relationships through Wisdoms Writer. My goal is simple: to help people gain direction, grow intentionally, rebuild where necessary, and build stronger lives.
I do not write because I have mastered every lesson. I write because I have lived through many of them and believe what I learned is worth sharing.
I believe excellence is built through preparation, integrity, responsibility, service, strong habits, and faithfulness.
